Red Nose Day at Mougins School

Mougins School Red Nose Day

On Friday 15th March 2013, the campus of Mougins School was awash with the colour red. Most of the 520 students and staff were dressed in red and wore red noses to celebrate Red Nose Day, part of Comic Relief, which is a bi-annual nation-wide effort in England to raise money for causes in Africa (purchase of anti-malarial nets, education, treatment for Aids) and also in England (support for children who are carers for their parents, being bullied or abused or suffering from drug or alcohol addiction).

The sale of 600 noses, a giant bake sale, participation in an aerobics class led by a sports teacher who has won both silver and bronze medals in French national swimming championships, all helped to raise 2,500€ towards this excellent cause in which Mougins School has participated for fourteen years.
